You are likely familiar with the 100HappyDays project, which dares you to open your eyes and acknowledge the small things in life for 100 days straight. We all deal with stressors in our daily lives, some bigger than others. However, it is important to recognize the fact that although sometimes small, there are happy and beautiful things happening around us every day. Hopefully we are all adding happiness to those around us as well.
But what happens when the 100 days are over? The thought is that once you are in the practicing of being thankful for the good things in life, you will continue to do so. Luckily, there is the mobile app Happier, created right in Boston. To a similar token, it is a forum where you can share your own happy moments, and share in the happy moments of both friends and strangers. I have been using the app for a few months ago, and it has since been ground zero for pictures of my kitties, successful projects, and moments with loved ones.
If you want to learn more about Happier, check out this TEDx video from its founder on why she was inspired to turn her life around and start making a choice to be happier.
