DIY- Ombre Wooden Spoons

Processed with VSCOcam with t1 presetDo you ever find yourself scratching your head wondering what to take to your friend as a hostess gift? Wonder no more! This is something that will be easy to put together and will undoubtedly delight any host.

In one particularly hellish trip to The Chrismas Tree shop, I noticed sets of four wooden spoons for $2. Having absolutely no clue what I would do with them, I obviously had to buy five sets. Recently, I used some of my new neon acrylic paints, and by adding gradient amounts of white, created sets of ombre spoons, which I finished off with some sparkly burlap ribbon. This would be a great gift to give along with a cookbook, or another kitchen treat. Unfortunately, I currently only have them siting in a large jar on my crafting shelf because I have yet to be invited anywhere… hint hint.
