DIY- Holiday Magnets

photo 2

This is literally such an amateur and low-effort craft that I almost feel silly to post it. However, in the respect of full disclosure of my Pinterest-themed apartment, I’ll include it!

I found some really cute present boxes in the scrapbooking section of Michaels, and while I had originally planned to make some new refrigerator magnets by glue gunning magnets to the back of beads or clip on earrings, I decided to go a more festive route.

Literally, all you have to do is super glue small round magnets to the back of the little presents. It took approximately two seconds to complete, and it gave a small dose of holiday cheer to my kitchen. Once the holidays are over, I can take the presents off the magnets and replace them with something more seasonal- snowflakes, or Valentines Day decorations perhaps?

Don’t mess with Rhode Island either (purchased at Craftland in PVD).

  1. I REALLY need to invest in a hot glue gun. Amazon, here I come. And don’t sell yourself short, these might not take 4 hours and require a ton of patience, but they are absolutely ADORABLE

  2. A set of these … adorably wrapped, of course (ideas, Gracie?) … would make a thoughtful (and inexpensive) gift for officemates … who might even be able to use them at the office. (A caution: keep small magnets away from little kids and critters, as they can be bad news if swallowed.)

  3. I LOVE that Rhode Island postcard!
