Anyone who lives in a college town knows that Sunday brunch can be a daunting and enraging experience, with wait times of upwards of an hour being standard. Fortunately, Cook and Brown Public House on Hope Street takes reservations! With a new menu every day, the new options are endless. I typically gravitate towards the brunch salads, but on this particularly brisk morning, I was craving something warmer and more comforting. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, the egg was perfectly poached, and the arugula added a welcome bitterness. I am excited to attempt to imitate this on my own.

The other fan favorite at C&B today was the squash benedict.

Is there anything better than fall food?
