In my opinion, the best street corner in Providence is the intersection of Benefit Street and Thomas Street. Some of the city’s most beautiful landmarks such as the country’s first Baptist church and the Fleur de Lis house are all clustered in this block. It is particularly pleasant to walk down- less so back up. Wet bricks on a 45 degree angle are no one’s friend.
